2D ANIMATION ADS COLLAGE CONCEPT / SCRIPT

THE STORY OF FREY

We were thrilled when our friends at Saint Berlin asked us to create an awesome animation video telling the story of Frey Chocolates. They provided us with footage and imagery from their archive, so we decided to get creative and make a cool collage-style animation mixed with illustrations.

Our goal was to bring to life the amazing history of Frey, starting over 135 years ago with brothers Robert and Max Frey in Aarau, Switzerland. The animation shows how Frey grew alongside global developments, always sticking to their commitment to quality and innovation.

OUR APPROACH

Our approach highlights the mouthwatering range of Frey chocolate, showcasing their premium Swiss ingredients and exquisite flavors. We included elements that highlight Frey’s global presence and sustainability efforts, showing their dedication to responsible production practices.

This animation captures the essence of Frey—a story of family, tradition, and outstanding chocolate. It’s a fun journey through Frey’s history and values, all wrapped up in a visually engaging and narratively compelling format.

STYLE EXPLORATION

During the style exploration phase, we delved into various visual approaches to bring Frey’s story to life. We experimented with collage-style animation, blending archival footage with illustrations to create a dynamic and engaging narrative.

Our goal was to capture the essence of Frey’s heritage and values while infusing a modern and playful aesthetic into the storytelling. This phase allowed us to develop a unique visual language that resonated with Frey’s brand identity and conveyed their exceptional taste and Swiss quality.
