3D ANIMATION CHARACTER

Septobore | Red Eyes

Septobore “Red eyes” is a 20-second TVC we created with The Newtons Laboratory for VIAN VIANEX.

The film takes the idea that red eyes can feel like horror and gives it a playful twist. It starts in darkness with glowing eyes staring back, until the lights come on and reveal real life instead. The workaholic laptopitis lady, the forgetful swimmer, the dusty driller, and the sleepless taxi driver.

COMPOSITION

One of the biggest challenges was fitting four different scenes into a single frame without cutting it apart. Each world needed its own space and light but still had to feel like part of one picture. We ended up creating an organic split screen where elements from one environment blend into the next, forming a seamless composition that holds all four stories together.

COLOR EXPLORATION

We went through plenty of color versions before finding the right balance. The red eyes were always the anchor, guiding the tone from irritation to relief.

The final palette keeps things clean and expressive, with strong contrast and just the right warmth to make the story feel alive.

CHARACTER DESIGN

This part focused on developing clear, functional character sheets with T poses and detailed drawings. Each design explored proportions, shapes, and small gestures that define personality.
